2026 RF SOC

We specialize in power-efficient high-performance RF/mm-Wave/sub-THz 5G/6G circuits, devices and systems design and testing using some most advanced semiconductor IC technologies. Our expertise also extends to biomedical and sensor research.

Meet the Team

Radio-Frequency System-on-a-Chip (RF-SoC) Group

RF-system-on-a-chip (RF-SoC) means that the RF/analog/digital circuits are all integrated with memory blocks and microprocessors/DSP as a complex single-chip digital communication system. Professor Lie is the Keh-Shew Lu Regents Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Texas Tech University.
His research group mainly focus on:
(1) power-efficient RF/Analog Integrated Circuits (ICs) with System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design and test
(2) interdisciplinary research on medical electronics, biosensors, and bio signal processing

We love to take pictures and show them to the world.
